Save Money, Heartburn with Appropriate Insurance

Traveling on a budget need not be depressing—it can also be fun and exciting, provided basic precautions and tourist medical coverage are in the bag. While tourists wanting an authentic experience of the countries they travel to might be tempted to “rough it out” without adequate tourist medical insurance, it is important to remember that the idea is more foolhardy than brave.
While looking for deals on international travel, booking yourself in a hostel may save a lot of money. Also, traveling by train may be cheaper than traveling by air in many countries. It might also provide a great fun experience. Tickets may be cheaper when booked in advance, and some countries don’t have exorbitant cancellation charges either.
When traveling on a budget, look for clean places to eat. They need not be famous or expensive restaurants; they just need to be clean and hygienic. Also know the way that the food items are prepared—food that is steamed or boiled tends to be less prone to causing an infection.
Also, purchasing insurance that you need can save you some money. If you’re young and healthy, selecting a higher deductible can reduce your premium by as much as 20%. Also think about whether you really need trip cancellation insurance, if the cancellation is not going to affect you by much.

Insure Your World Travel on a Couch

You probably know it makes sense, but missed purchasing tourist insurance on your previous international trip. Don’t make the same mistake this time around. But have you heard of people making international trips without booking a hotel? And it’s not just backpackers who are doing it—it’s regular tourists too!
The new wave in international tourism (and local) is called “couchsurfing.” The concept basically tries to create a community of people who would like to share their experiences with others—by offering a couch in their house for a visiting tourist. The nearly 1.7 million couchsurfers come from nearly 70,000 cities in the world, making for a wide network.
However, before accepting a couch or offering one, remember that your safety and that of your belongings is entirely up to you. If you are a tourist, remember to bring something from your home country for your host. It is meant as an opportunity to build bridges, so don’t treat the couch like a hotel bed, coming and going as you please, without any contact with your host.
Try and get to know your host better. Living with a local still means you must be extra careful about your health. You can ask your host about nearby hospitals and check which ones are known for good healthcare. And don’t forget to drop a thank you note to your host once you get home.

The building making the most news these days is in the hottest city in the world (in more ways than one): Dubai. When visiting the UAE with adequate UAE tourist insurance, the Burj Khalifa can be an awe-inspiring sight.
What’s more, this is the perfect season to visit the seven emirates or states that make up the United Arab Emirates (Dubai being one of them). It is the coolest time in the UAE, with pleasant morning and slightly chilly night temperatures. The weather is ideal for tourists.
The period between January 28 and February 28 is also the time for one of the world’s best shopping extravaganzas: The Dubai Shopping Festival. The month-long festival will not just feature great shopping deals, but also a ton of other programs such as fashion shows and fun contests.
So, this may be the perfect time to make your way to the UAE. There are six other emirates in the UAE, and some of the more popular activities for tourists include desert safaris and beachside activities. Remember, though, that UAE tourist insurance will go a long way in making the trip memorable—in a nice way.
