Adequate Care for Visitors with Insurance
Filed Under: Blogging
When shopping for tourist insurance, look for a plan that suits your needs, and not necessarily a plan that offers all the benefits possible. Some plans feature a lot of flexibility in coverage, and that might be a good option as well. Visitors Care Insurance is one such plan, which provides many options that an applicant can choose from.
Visitors Care Insurance offers three options each for maximum benefits and deductibles. The applicant can mix and match the offerings, for a total of nine possible insurance plan configurations. While the maximum benefits are $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000, the deductibles are none, $50, and $100.
Each maximum benefit level carries with it a certain level of coverage. As is customary, the plan covers unplanned medical expenses including hospital visits, hospitalization, surgery, diagnostics, and emergency services such as ambulance and emergency medical evacuation.
One thing to remember with he Visitors Care plan is pre-certification of medical necessity, with regard to any procedure. If one fails to pre-certify, the benefits will be cut in half. To streamline the process, the plan also offers the facility of online pre-certification.
