Reports indicate that the net worth of a comprehensive travel kit, be it for business or leisure would cost a few thousand dollars. How many of us are prepared for any baggage arrival delays or baggage loss? Only when we lose our belongings do we know their importance or their worth.

Buying clothing and other essentials in a foreign land especially if you are travelling in a group or as a family could really put your financial situation under stress. Hence, it is important that you buy an international travel insurance plan that covers loss or theft of your baggage.

While finalizing your insurance plan, ensure that the baggage coverage amount is sufficient and suitable for the worth of your valuables. If it is as less as say, $200 and the worth of your baggage is a few thousands, the coverage amount would be negligible and does not reimburse your loss sufficiently.
