None of us worry much about the possibilities of cancellation of a well-planned vacation, though it is surely not nil. We start planning on a positive note and if the trip gets cancelled due to some personal emergency, health disorders, weather conditions or forecast warnings at the destination, then one is forced to cancel the trip. The expenses incurred in this condition are huge in addition to disappointment. Under these circumstances, trip cancellation insurance is the ideal answer. This insurance covers all the pre-paid costs of the trip that has been planned during the travel.

Most of the individuals skip this insurance thinking that they would be able to ideally start at the planned date and also that none of their family members would fall sick. This is only an assumption and not a reality.

Trip cancellation insurance comes into play even if the travel agency goes bankrupt! Though the possibilities seem bleak, in the current economic scenario which is highly volatile, the occurrence of any event seems unimaginable!

Generally, trip cancellation benefits are huge in the case of family insurance or group insurance where many people are involved. Especially, if the group is compelled to return earlier than planned due to one or more of its members falling sick at the destination, the recovery of financial loss would be high.
